At L’Ortye we find it extremely important that you know all the rules before you take to sea. A flowing traffic at sea is a diligent matter, and thus it requires a set of rules, so every skipper knows what to do and what to expect from others.
The Dutch police has created a summary of sailing rules. We would advise to read these rules properly and thoroughly before entering your boat. This ensures everyone stays safe. More extensive for all sailing rules within the Netherlands can be found in the Binnenvaartpolitiereglement and in the Rijnvaartpolitiereglement.
